Attacks? Personally, I thought it was journalism as journalism is suppose to be conducted. Questions appropriate of the time and time for the person being interviewed to give complete answers without interruption.
Watching the ideological descendants of the people who beat up, tossed in jail, and ultimately murdered Dr. King today put him on a pedestal as the ideological savior of their political party is endlessly amusing. They had him pegged correctly the first time around.

Ummm.. I'd just ask the OP'er to ask themselves how one is to come to a consensus if they don't have a critical thinking session...
There are all sorts of things you could use to attack MLK on but this video shows that better, much more willing to discuss and think, side of MLK and his detractors (opposition).
It would be absolutely ignorant to claim King's rhetoric didn't change the course of American politics...
