Because there's no defense that works so deflection is the only answer. Liberal idiots flocked to this guy's defense even though this guy was breaking the law at the time of his injury, now will they stick with him after this revelation? Of course they will, because they're worthless trash.

How was he breaking the law? So because this guy served in Iraq and realised what a stupid war it was and the fact that the military brainwashes their recruits, he is now a bad guy? Only an american hating conservative would think that.

The man was breaking the law in that the police had issued an order to leave the area and the protesters were throwing bottles and rocks at the police. The police dispersed the crowd with tear gas just as they said they would do when they issued their order.

Do you have some proof that this poor soul who hates the Marines was hit by a police projectile and not a bottle or a rock? I have been looking for that and haven't found any yet.
