Does the income disparity between the richest Americans and everyone else over the past 30 years concern you? Why or why not.

No, because there is nothing that I can do about it.
Just like in the Great Depression, it will work it's way out.

It will come to a head sooner or later on its own.

LOL, if only The Great Depression wasn't CAUSED by the exact private Central Banking system we have in place today (The Federal Reserve). This will never "work it's way out" and that is a dangerous mindset to have. Please watch this video, it is long but informative and mind opening.

This could very well be the single most likely issue/thing to lead to the country imploding. Not terrorists...not race...not religion...not radical Islam...not illegal immigration...

Thats why the Republicans are dooming themselves as a political party. This division, this siphoning all of the wealth in the country to a very few at the top, is what the Tea Party, right-wing Talk Radio, and the Fox News agenda support. Whether they are genuinely that clueless to believe the trickle-down nonsense, just give every break, advantage, incentive, etc. to the top and they will trickle on the rest of us, or they are really just that evil that they want to see this happen to the country where a few elitists run everything and the rest of us are slaves to the few at the top...

At some point even the tea-tards, and talk-radiots will start to see themselves being affected and realize its not because of some welfare momma collecting a whopping $12,000 dollars a year in tax payer money because she wants to get stoned all day instead of working. Or its not the fault of unions and the whopping 7% of the workers in the country they have clout over. Or its not the fault of Obama because hes a socialist, communist, muslim, facist, nazi born in Kenya.

At some point, even the ignorant, bitter, angry tea-tards and talk-radiots, the 18%ers...will realize their puppetteers...The Koch brothers, the tea-party, the rich, Faux News, the talk-radiot talking heads...They are the reason they are seeing the American dream disappear...Yes even tea-tards and talk-radiots will figure this out eventually!

There has always been a few extremely rich people with a larger subset of very wealthy people in every developed country in history. I do not fear it, nor am I jealous of it. I will make the best of the opportunities and talents that I possess. Some are born lucky, or smarter, or better looking and frankly I am not going to waste my energy worrying over it. This has not been going on for only "30 years". It has been going on for thousands of years.

It has been going on for quite sometime, however the gap has completely exploded over the last 30 years.

Yes, but for what, a few hundred CEO's? It is such a small sample size that statistically it is irrelevant when spread over 150 million workers. This is more of an emotional issue. I can understand the frustration, but it is not as if small business CEO's are making 30-40 times what their average worker makes, and they are by far the largest employer base in the country. If people wants to after the giant corps, feel free as I am not a huge fan of the power they hold. It will not make much financial difference to the average American however.

I'm not worried about income disparity per se. Income disparity numbers are fluid, not static.

I am, however, worried about crony capitalism. It was the Federal government and the Federal Reserve that bailed out Wall Street and the big banks. Blame crony capitalism NOT real capitalism.
