Well, really no surprise there. We knew this was all about ginning up the "base", trying to create some excitement and enthusiasm.

It appears the bused-in crowd that descended on WI like a flock of locust have high-tailed it to NYC to be part of the "movement".

Occupy Protesters Down on Obama, Survey Finds - NYTimes.com

Quote:
In the survey, 80 percent described themselves as liberal; half of those said they were extremely liberal.

Dr. Panagopoulos described the protesters as “disgruntled Democrats.” Sixty percent of those surveyed said they voted for Barack Obama in 2008, and about three-quarters now disapprove of Mr. Obama’s performance as president.
No kidding! There IS a reason why OWS is not where it should be - in front of the Fed, in front of the WH, in front of Congress. They are birds of a feather.

They may be unhappy with obama, only because he hasn't increased government even MORE with his ruinous policies, but they will support him, no doubt about that.

Anyone who believes in government assured egalitarianism is in for a let-down.

Is this news? I always thought they were on the left side, just like most tea partiers are conservatives. Nothing new to me.

Did not vote is almost 1/2 of those that did vote for Obama.

If you didn't vote (and were of age) then you have no reason to protest.

Probably because they listen to what he SAYS and don't read about what he DOES.
You have to admit..Obama is a good orator and goes for emotions each and every time.

They don't have to protest like that. They got their people into Congress last election.

What worked once for the conservatives seems to be causing a great deal of panic and consternation from the neocons.
