What country on this planet has that system?

If the Progressives get their way we'll have to. Afterall, the move towards global socialism is from the Marxist elitists. Their intent was never to bring up the quality of life for Americans or for the 3rd world. Rather, the goal was to make the USA and the eurozone quality of life closer to that of the 3rd world.

With Marxist Socialism there is always an uber-elite class and then everyone else scraping to just get by. This is by design. We haven't had true Capitalism in this country for more than 30 years. In the past 4 years it has been replaced by a fascist economy. GW Bush started it with TARP and Obama has been moving it forward at lightspeed by legislating through regulatory bureaucracy and Executive Orders.

Now, maybe we could get back on topic? Do you think those who think certain work is beneath them though they are able bodied, like some in the OPs video, should be paid not to work bia taxpayer funded entitlements?

Wrong again. I guess since you couldn't win with the race card, now you'll pull the age card? We just hired two single men, one Caucasian, the other A.A. that are both over 50 (and out of state), and have no oilfield experience. Actually, our industry is suprisingly "old" due to the fact that younger people are often scared of the long hours and heavier workload demanded by the oilfield.

Interesting that you think that Reagan destroyed capitalism in America.

The Occupy Movement has gone way beyond where it can be discredited by the filming of a video depicting fake "head-hunters" who can't dress picking out the obvious drifter in an OWS encampment and offering him a chauffer's job. More informative are the comments. If that is what some people think of the occupy movement the country is indeed in trouble. The wealthy have more than doubled their wealth in half my lifetime. What happens when they double it again? Where will any of you be in a country where the 1% have all the wealth? Support Our Protesters!

I wasn't playing to win and since you already have your token A.A. you won't need (or hire me) because there will never be two of us hired at one jobsite. But you and I can jockey around the semantics till the cows come home. The system is broken. The system is not sustainable. The system had to be threatened. I don't want to be a roughneck. America is creating thousands.. of blue collar niche industry opportunities at a time when millions of red, white and blue collar opportunities are needed, in every state of the union. Deny that.

I don't support Communists, Marxists, violent union thugs, radical Islam, terrorist organizations, etc... . Apparently you do.

Wow, what a bold and misinformed thought. I came out of a broken home and a wellfare family. I worked my @ss off, and now I'm worth over half a million. So the wealthy have doubled their wealth over the last 10-20 years? So what. I've increased mine by 10 times. Work for your $ instead of whining about what you don't have.

Wow, that is a huge chip you have on your shoulder. Most employers don't go out of their way to hire people with really bad additudes from the get go.

As a recruiter, I've never hired a "token"; and yes, more jobs are needed, but what are you complaining about when there are still so many high paying jobs being left unfilled? BTW, In Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma there are more Hispanic oilfield workers than Caucasian. In Louisiana and Mississippi most of our workers are A.A.) Stop making baseless excuses.
