He said the men were angry with President Barack Obama for announcing Bin Laden’s death on TV just hours after they completed the mission on May 1.
"There isn't a politician in the world who could resist trying to take credit for getting Bin Laden but it devalued the 'intel' and gave time for every other Al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole," he said.

I am very suspicious of this story, I highly doubt any of the seal team 6 would reveal their
identity to a gossip rag like the telegraph, or to anybody for that matter.

Pretty scathing account. They obviously don't have a lot of respect for their CIC's actions. I suppose it was better for us to announce it than for it to leak from the Pakistani's first. I can't really comment on it beyond that without knowing the motivations behind what prompted Obama to announce it when he did.

I guess slam is in the eye of the beholder. Too strong? Okay, Seal Team 6 is critical of Obama.

Happy?
