Iran's president didn't advocate wiping Israel off the map -- that's something that got lost in translation, and it was also verbiage falsely attributed to Ahmadinejad, who was actually quoting something that the Ayatollah had apparently said before. I'm not saying that there's any love between Israel and Iran, but the facts don't support the widely-held view that Iran is trying to destroy Israel.
The Washington Post ran an article about it as well, with a similar conclusion. Ahmadinejad has made no secret of the fact that he is anti-Zionism, and he questions the legal basis for the existence of Israel. But he did not advocate that Israel be 'wiped off the map'. And here's a newsflash: he's hardly the only one who raises questions about the legal basis of Israel's existence. It's just that he doesn't have to worry about offending politically prominent Zionists in order to maintain his regime, so he's actually free to come out and criticize Israel as he pleases.
As hard as it may be to believe based on my comments, I am a proponent for the state of Israel to exist as its own independent state, with full UN recognition. I realize that the Palestinians or Israel's Arab neighbors don't make that a particularly easy process, but Zionist Jews should have thought about that before they decided to take it upon themselves to create a state on religious grounds, particularly when occupying a population that is comprised of extremely devout followers of another faith.
I am all for Israel's right to exist, but if she exists, then She must make and negotiate her own peace. The reality is that, until our demand for oil started to strain our supply, we didn't give two craps about Israel. We even opposed her in the Suez Conflict. To think that we've come around now and become the defenders of God's children is no small political or historical irony, and its a peculiar relationship that needs to be examined a bit further, I think.
Iran's got a sh*t regime if there ever was one. But there again, there's a history that's a bit complicated, and the facts might surprise ordinary Americans if they knew them, and if we put ourselves in the shoes of Iranians we might at least understand why they're not particularly trusting of the U.S. Having Washington overthrow a popularly-elected regime for 25 years of brutal autocratic rule doesn't always go over very well.
Sarkozy is himself a jew , so whats the big fuss over his comments. Is he now a Jewish antisemite, a progoyim jew, or a selfhating jew or what...?
Pathetic!
No. he's not Jewish. His maternal grandfather was Jewish. Not only is he not Jewish by Jewish law, but neither his mother, nor he, were even raised as Jews.
I think your "Support Israel No Matter What They Do" attitude is clouding your judgement. The war mongering Zionist banking elite deliberately lie about Iran's Nuclear Energy program and tell everybody that Iran is developing Nukes. Sound familiar? There were no WMD in Iraq. The Zionist elite bankers have been itching to go to war against Iran for the past several years. This is an Israel power grab using the U.S. military to do their dirty work for them. As they always have done. Russia knows this and will declare war on Israel as they rightfully should if they attack Iran.
That's the way I see it, too.
And all those ridiculous anti-Semitism charges, really, is someone a child-hater if they point out a particular child is a spoiled brat or bully?

Even so, how likely is it that he hates Jews, knowing his own ancestry? Not very. Stop being a lemming and understand the difference between a Jew and a Zionist.
The Zionist lobby has done a very effective job of smearing people who don't support their narrow agenda. They've made being called an 'anti-Semite' a messy ordeal. But the effects of this are beginning to wear off. As more and more people become enlightened and understand the liabilities of our relationship with Israel, and as they begin to see how awful the Israeli regime is, the charges of 'Jew hater' are starting to fall on deaf ears. The danger here, of course, is that real hatred for Jews will become obscured by the false charges that are often tossed about by Zionist interests such as the ADL and AIPAC.

Stop being a Useful Idiot for the haters of the world. A zionist is someone who thinks Jews should be able to live safely and securely in their own land where they can control their own fate. Anyone who tries to thwart Jews in their effort to protect themselves is clearly a Jew-hater. You know what you are, and so do I.

I think Jewish people are living quite safe and secure in America, don't you? They control their own fate quite fine too. Why should one of America's biggest obligations be to promote and protect Israel when America has a large and thriving Jewish community of its own?
Why does someone have to be a "Jew Hater" because they don't think our Government should be influenced so heavily by matters concerning Israel. There are plenty of Anti-Zionists Jews. Are they "Jew Haters" as well?
America should be focused on America. NO COUNTRY should get the preferential treatment favored to Israel.
