I put Obama's address on mute since I know he is always blaming others when things do not go his way so I decide to listen to the last few minutes of it and what was he doing when I put it on? Blaming the Republicans in Congress for not passing his jobs bill. Hey, you have Democrats who also voted against it. Go figure.

He is such a broken record.

And the thing is, your average uninformed American will feel bad for him and think the Republicans are always the bad guys...and the same people will vote for him again because they think Obama actually has the best interest in mind.

Politicians cannot be trusted.

Jobs bills don't create jobs. Businesses only hire people when they have positions that need to be filled. Companies don't magically decide to create jobs just because of a so-called "jobs" bill.

The bill was meant to supply ammunition to use against the GOP and he can't allow libs to know that he can't get many of his people to vote for it too. He never says a lot about what the bill says but he just can't stand to have anyone know what the House has sent to the Senate in the way of jobs bills because his will continue to supply him with ammunition.

This thing is a jobs bill in name only.

Well, I am now watching Huckabee's show and he is in Branson to salute the Veterans. They have a tribute to them each year on Veterans day I was there last year, wish I could have been there this year. That city surely renews your soul about our country.

God bless our veterans----yes, I said God.

At this point, I refuse to care. It is not up to Obama to make a 'jobs bill.' Regardless of that, politics has gotten us no where in the last few years. It should be time to move forward; we should stop bitching about each others lack of accomplishments/doing things remotely productive.

Complaining hardly gets us anywhere.

Typical republican response to actual solutions to problems. Nothing new.

I would listen to him if he wasn't such a broken record.

Spending billions to create a couple hundred jobs isn't an actual solution to anything, he's tried it before and it failed last time.

At this point why doesn't he just flat out give $50 billion to his fat cat labor union buddies and stop beating around the bush?

How would you know if he's a broken record if you're muting him? No answer required/needed.

Wow, you speak so definitively when the CBO disagrees with you. What are the pubs suggesting? NOTHING..but the same nonsense that got us in this mess.

Political Animal - CBO: Dems’ numbers add up on jobs bill

The Congressional Budget Office on Friday confirmed that President Obama’s jobs bill would be fully paid for over ten years and also gave its seal of approval to a Senate Democrat version that includes a surtax on millionaires. […] CBO also said that the bill “could have a noticeable impact on economic growth and employment in the next few years.”
