Hell, if I were Hatian I'd jump at that. Anything to get out of that place. Although having a large group of refugees just coming to the country can pose some big problems too. I'm surprised he's taking this risk. We'll see how it turns out.

This is humanitarianism in the most beautiful sense of the word. Truly a tear flowing moment for me. Well they better leave and get their region!! This is so wonderful to hear!!

it certainly seems like a generous offer. it would be interesting to see if 1) haitians are all notified of the offer, and 2) if they would accept the offer.

for a lot of people, though, there is no place like home.

Troll much, denverkid?

Anyway, if its legit -- it is very decent of them. For all intents and purposes, the Haitians are like war refugees and should be treated as such. Their country has been destroyed. They should be treated like refugees who need a new homeland where they can be safe and prosper.

Does Senegal have land to give away to non-citizens?

You know you're doing bad when even Africans pity you. Haiti, 200 years of failed Black nationalism and counting, what a shame.
