Wow, I have never seen some one cherry pick out parts of the Bible they like, make up their own interpretations, and try and regurgitate it to justify what they already want to believe. A televangelist couldn't have done worse hack job.
I wonder what Jesus would say if he came down and found people only following the parts of the Bible they liked and ignoring the rest. This certainly tops the list of things you could say that would make a minister want to slap the crap out of you.
He threw them out because they were doing business in the House of the Lord on a sabbath.
Not to nitpick, but I don't think the Gospels say anything about that happening on the Sabbath, they just simply say that Jesus went to the temple during Passover. He threw them out for using a "House of Prayer" to perform commerce. He explicitly called out the thievery of the money changers and the dove merchants who sold to the poorer pilgrims.

Commerce = moneychangers
He whipped the animals for sale for sacrific out then turned over the moneychangers tables.
