i'd rather my 10 year old not have access to that stuff on public tv. I'll subscribe to HBO if I want it.

The FCC should have only one purpose - managing radio frequencies.

That said, even without FCC interference, you would still have plenty of "censorship" on TV. Broadcasters can censor what they want, and if enough people want certain kinds of content censored, it will be. And there are enough people...

Then monitor what your 10 year old watches but don't force your censorship on those of us without 10 year olds (or even those with 10 year olds who use it as a teaching moment when something objectionable comes on the TV)

You guys can't handle going without nudity and foul language for a little while? Give me a break.

If you want to see nudity, go in the bathroom, take all your clothes off and stare at yourself in the mirror. You want to hear cussing? Say some cuss words to yourself. Want to see female boobies? Look on Google Images.

Leave this stuff off of television. What is the necessity of these things anyway?

The best are when they change the original lines in movies to something without explict language, but at the same time change the words to something that makes absolutely no sense.

ridiculous edited for tv movie lines - YouTube

John McClane- "Yippie-ki-yay, Mr Falcon!". WTF is that supposed to mean?!

I am monitoring what my kid watches. By giving feedback to the tv stations and elected officials.

Why do you need to see filthy shows on public tv in prime time anyway? If you gotta have it, you order HBO...don't force it on me.
