Guy Just ****ing Lost it on Air - YouTube

Money is the root of not all but a HELL OF A LOT OF EVIL. And because we have a bought Congress (forget the Teabaggers, forget the Republicans, forget the Democrats, forget the Occupy / Coffee Party / communists, they're ALL corrupt), and because we have vested interests who want to keep the same screwed up system of taxing the poor and working classes to death while allowing large conglomerates from offshoring the very jobs that they say the country needs to recover AND not tax them a dime in many cases, while screwing the small mom and pop shops that make up 80% of the economy, making our soldiers and servicemen and women poor and without the training needed for our high tech workforce, and by abandoning the schoolkids who ARE NOT STUPID AND KNOW THEY HAVE NO FUTURE,

THIS is why we have a screwed up system. This guy hits the nail on the head. We need to do what Teddy Roosevelt did, we need to do what Jackson and Madison did and REFUSE TO LET THE SYSTEM CONTINUE.

1) Repatriate all the wealth that is stored in overseas banks of American corporations, an estimated $20 trillion, and tax all corporations that refuse to repatriate that wealth and invest in American infrastructure, industry, and technology at 100% of revenue. If you're gonna screw the American workforce and people, well *********, you're not welcome in this country anymore and you're barred from doing business in any way, shape, or form here.

2) Level the Federal Reserve (which is purely corrupt and only serves to monetize our debt and provide a free stream of money to the biggest banks in the land) and replace it with a Bank of the USA and let it be the central bank which can lend to businesses. Set the rate at 2% APR for loans to businesses who are at AAA and scale it up from there.

3) Back the money with hard assets, I propose a blend of property, gold, silver, and farm output. Refuse to monetize debt. Set new currency rate at the beginning of 1:1 value to the old notes and let the market decide what the real value is.

4) Pull troops out of the 100+ countries we have troops in, recognize we are NOT an empire, and apologize for the last 60 years of gunboat politics and offer to whomever may want to become a part of the USA to join.
On that note, ask the Phillippines and Puerto Rico to join and start paying taxes or we will leave. I figure we'll get some volunteers to join, rather than going around with big guns and saying you'll be our proxy.

5) Revoke free-trade status with countries who are known to violate intellectual property rights of American businesses and individuals. China, South Korea, Russia, Japan, Brazil and France, I'm looking at you. Threaten to embargo those countries until such a time they stop illegally stealing our property, and engage in covert cyberwarfare with those countries to steal their intellectual property in retribution.

6) Set term limits for public offices. Bar any individual from having served in the public sphere from working as a consultant or work in any way connected to the public realm. Basically, no more career politicians.

7) End the practice of lifetime healthcare for politicians. Disband the healthcare system and institute a national health care insurance plan that competes with private insurance.

On that note, force all politicians to have practical real-world experience in a working environment, be it in managing a business, engineering, teaching, or whatever. No more of these ivory tower Ivy League "smart guys" who have zero real world experience.

8) Set up a fund for public office campaigning that gives equal air time, newspaper space, and sets up a public forum for debate. Ban news organizations from setting up their own debate forums which, given the latest offerings, only cements my views that they're purely for entertainment purposes.

9) Amend the Constitution to have a balanced budget amendment. We cannot borrow from future revenue.

10) Institute a e-voting system which gives people equal power to their senators and representatives. If more than 50% of the populace in a district vote on a measure then their vote will be used in lieu of the representative.

11) Ban "hateful" and "inflammatory" speech. Mandate that logical arguments be drawn and emotions be kept out of government. Where emotions are bound to happen, resort to direct rule.

12) Consider a confederation. The USA is too large, diverse, hard to manage, and unweildly to hope that one set of states will ever agree with another. That, or consider a Parliamentary system.

13) For a period of three years, have the office of the Executive wield ultimate power in passage of legislation without the Congress. Until Congress can get its act together, bypass it.

Well some might work and some would not work or be too severe but I think 4,5, 6, 7, 9 and 13 would be possible while 1 and 2 would not work but having a Well Regulated Central Bank that does has a strict lending policy.

Just having a Bank that would not lend out any Money unless they knew the person was able to pay them back anyways those are some interesting Ideas.

Sounds entitlement minded to me. SCRATCH THAT, HE SOUNDS LIKE THE KIND OF PERSON THAT THINKS THERE CAN BE EQUAL OUTCOMES FOR ALL.
How does he choose to pay for everything?
Shrink government and their employees and great society programs no doubt?
We have world wide treaties to protect countries around the world by the way. :-)
