Obama, a true man of the people. If by "people", you mean corporate interests.

Internal govt. e-mails reveal questions on huge contract for firm politically linked to Obama admin - CNN.com

In before intellectually lazy Halliburton and "b-b-b-b-ut you guys said he was a socialist?" argument.

Thanks for the link summers73. I am encouraged that more people on both left and right are finally gaining awareness of the issue of corporate welfare, of big-gov't and big-biz in bed together and both raping the taxpayer.

Some like the OP even are starting to call it by it's technically correct name of 'economic fascism.' Fascism unlike socialism, allows private ownership of the means of production, but with such entanglement and intertwinement between gov't and business that 'private ownership' becomes just a legal fiction.

Wow..and everyone said it was the Repubs that were beholden to big business ?
People need to wake up. Big business has gotten billions from our government in the past 3 years of taxpayer giveaways.

Fascism is taxing and regulating control of private business, while not taxing or regulating others who have supported your power to the top.

You're welcome. It can also be tiered and by no means are they mutually exclusive. Of course, Obamatrons can take advantage of Obama's economic duality by stating that opponents are "confused" over whether Obama is a socialist or a fascist. It's a very clever way to divert the discussion. Of course, the real answer depends on who you are. Are you a poor or middle to middle-upper class person? Socialism. Are you an uber-rich and well connected person? Fascism. Ergo: "Socialism for thee...not for me". Also in socialism there is still class warfare and actually income disparity is even greater than under a free market. The much more bell shaped curve now becomes a two spike graph. High concentration of poor and high concentration of uber-rich.
