Occupier: Sir, I did not do anything. I said "Mr. O'Reilly, were you at Gingrich's fundraiser?" And he hit me, with his umbrella.

And none of the people he sends "goons" out to pester have to answer either Where is it written that if you are asked a question on the street, you have to answer it
He did answer! He stuck the guy with his umbrella.

Then why would he go to the police to file a report?
He didn't, Bill cry-babied to the policeman that the guy was taping him and wanted him arrested for it . They pretty much laughed at him as the man did nothing illegal (unlike O'Reilly)

According to the videographer, the police said "either both of you can get arrested or neither of you can get arrested." The videographer declined (I'd've done it!).
O'Reilly had the cojones to say, "he didn’t know who the man [was] or whether or not he was carrying a weapon, he tried to, essentially, protect himself from a meddling, threatening stranger."
It's good to get a rational independent voters opinion on the topic.
