I hate O'Reilly and occupiers equally. Camera person got in his face, so O'Reilly pushed him with his umbrella. Typical occupier being sensitive and O'Reilly being a jerk is what I saw.

There are far more of the loony left than the "radical right."

No reason to hate O'Reilly... his commentaries and talking points on his TV show make a lot of sense very often. He has also done a lot of good, for instance, pushing for "Jessica's Law" to be passed in every state and when he exposed money donated to the Red Cross after the 9/11 attacks not going where it was intended.

I would have done the same thing-what is wrong with people-running up to a complete stranger yelling-he's lucky he didn't get his ass shot-I would defend anyone in that situation-what happens if the situation were reversed? And some freak ran up to Rachel Maddow in the dark yelling? Stop being so one sided people...I'd defend Rachel too.

Actually it appears that he attempted to shield himself from the guy with the camera and the wind caught the umbrella and actually pulled it up and broke it. If you look at the umbrella afterwards it appears that it was pulled up and broke.

O'Rielly is saying "Leave me alone!!!" Clearly he was not being respected by camera guy. c'mon, bill or man on the street.. it was an annoying person bugging him on a cold rainy windy night.. geesh who needs that?
what's wrong with people.. we really ought to have a modicum of respect.

Neither.

I like O'Reilly, but I think he was a little thin skinned in this video.

That being said, we don't know the context of the clip....what was said before or anything else.

O'Reilly gets a pass on this one, IMO.

Bill-o makes his entire carrier by harassing and badmouthing people. He's a very well known person and having random people coming up to you on the street is likely a common occurrence.
The man has every right to ask Bill questions and record it protected under the freedom of speech and of the press in the constitution.
It doesn't matter if Bill found the man annoying, he had no right to assault him.
