Went to watch my daughter sing Christmas songs at Town Center earlier with her chorus. My husband decided to make a soup for dinner and now we're all settling in to watch Christmas movies. Just a quiet family night here. I might make cookies later - just cause!
Today is our Friday, had a nice dinner and now we are just having a quiet night here relaxing. I am working on my to-do list for things around the house and checking to make sure I have all the ingredients I need for some baking tommorow.
The high light of the day {drum roll} I had hay delivered for my 7 Pygmy goats and stacked it in the barn. Yes, life is exciting here in the sticks !!!!!! I took a big after noon nap and of course spent some time here on CD. Later I am watching the {R} debate on line since we have no cable and after watch some Netflix cuddled up with the old bird.
A personal note to Calipoppy you might know this but do not burn a bunch of cardboard all at once in the fireplace. Had a friend who almost caught his roof on fire there was flames coming out of the stack.
Yikes. No cardboard for me!
Actually I bought the little firewood bundle from HomeDepot but can't light it (no matches, glass top stove, etc) So I'm just sitting here, looking at the fireplace like

Wife and little ones gone to the town Christmas party,just put some more wood on the fire,made a pot of coffee and now sitting here talking to you guys and listening to the coyotes howling a couple hundred yards behind the house...ahhh..good times
