We're not leaving, they're just changing uniforms.

But after they come home, 16,000 U.S. contractors on our tax payroll and personnel will stay behind in Baghdad wearing our identity and doing our work. In fact, Baghdad will be the largest U.S. embassy on the planet for the United States. President Obama today at Ft. Bragg admitted the Iraq we leave behind is not perfect by his view, and that success was never a guarantee.

Thanks to GW for realizing his mistake and establishing the plan for exit and thanks to Obama for following that plan as he promised to do. Now, if Obama will heed Biden's thoughts, and quit trying to build a "New Afghanistan" but make that into a Special Ops effort against Al Qaeda and Taliban, the better.

i voted for obama but this isn't 'kudos' to obama.

he's being forced out of iraq by the iraqis because they rightly won't give immunity to american troops. They aren't being pulled out on obamas own accord.

Republicans are attacking Obama because he's getting us out of Iraq. Go figure.

Just the military contractors that own them expressing their displeasure at the loss of revenue.

It is a fact that Obama tried to negotiate to stay in Iraq. He of course failed. What else is new. No "kudos" to him for you Bush haters needed as he did nothing other than follow through on the agreement in place. If he however got what he wanted we would still be there. Now Hillary is in charge of Iraq with her personal army.

Nice try. Then why is that the the GOP clowns running for president are blasting Obama's decision to withdraw from Iraq (with the exception of Ron Paul)?

Nice to see you admit that the GOP bozos running for president have absolutely no clue what they're talking about.

Default Congratulations on your inheritance!

Good job Mr President!
Congratulations on your inheritance!

Every time you follow GWB's policies you come out a winner.

You just have to somehow figure out how to sanitize all the news that proclaimed your effort into opposing the surge, GWB's Iraqi policies and how you would not have voted to support the war if you had been in the legislative body when the vote was taken.
