Drops 20%. Not a particularly "bright" (pun intended) future ahead for the company, huh?

First Solar stock plunges 20% - Dec. 14, 2011

In before the "you want American to fail" haters.

Quote:
Dozens of solar panel makers are expected to go bankrupt this year as the depressed prices prune weaker companies from the market.

When I was at my academic conference, this crunchy granola woman I was boarding with was trying to push a solar investment on me. She also told me about her friend willed herself to win the lottery. The crazy was strong with her.

And First Solar was the darling of the solar panel industry.
They were actually a stable company and even had contracts with China.

Out of the 6 posts in this thread which one is "celebrating" the loss of jobs ?
And nowhere in that article is job loss even mentioned.
Their sales forecast is down due to weather which, in the solar panel industry, would definitely impact them.

I suggest you live up to your screen name before posting comments.
