Obviously they made the parking lot appear to be a body of water for these pour birds. Either that or the birds decided to end it instead of trying to maneuver through all the wind turbines in Cali on their trip down south that kill em every year.
"Wildlife officials said thousands of grebes - a duck-like aquatic bird - were likely migrating toward Mexico and probably mistook the parking lot of the Cedar City Walmart and other areas as far south as Anderson's Junction for bodies of water. Thinking they were landing to rest atop a pond or lake, the grebes plummeted to the ground."

"LORD,I know you will call me home one day...but if you don't care, please don't call me in a Wal-Mart parking lot or for that matter, anywhere near Wal-Mart...thank you in advance"
I wonder if the Utah Conservation police have given any tickets to the migrant workers who were fishing in that parking lot without a fishing license?
Who's hating Walmart?
Its the benchmark of the American success story and should be a shining example to the world of how it can be done in America..If a bunch of birds cant figure out the difference between a parking lot and a lake i dont think its Walmarts fault.
