A couple of minutes into Harkin's rant, this gentleman officer was given five minutes to explain his opinions and he did so very well.

What a pile of nonsense.

No, he didn't. He expressed his personal religious views, and the sexual morality that "he was raised to believe". Such a thing has no business coming from the lips of a 4-star Marine General.

The mere fact his name is even brought up thousands of year later makes him special and shows he had and has a effect to this day. You just added to it by talking about him, congrats.

Typical in this day of age.
It's a homecoming kiss for goodness sake.

The two women are talking in the video.

You seem to be the one who is 'sexualizing' it.

The name of Charlemagne is brought up frequently as well, yet there is considerable doubt that he ever existed at all. Your contention is meaningless.

Did anyone ever stop to think about why the bible say it's a sin for a man to sleep with another man? The answer is probably that in the time the bible was written, they wanted to increase the population of Christians in the world, so they told people to "Be fruitful and multiply" and to have sex with the opposite sex. Times have changed. Most of the Western World is Christian, they don't need to increase their population anymore. Other things in the bible have faded as times changed. Christians don't follow the laws of Kosher do they? But that's in the Bible. Times change, things change, old laws don't always work.

I don't think so. Because to keep things "moral" how was the military supposed to patrol a soldier's sex life to make sure it was confined to a married relationship with the opposite sex?

I don't think its a step forward. Or backwards.

In fact, I don't care at all if two chicks want to kiss.

Heartwarming, just heartwarming. Good to hear the positive reaction to such as well.

What's wrong with doing away with the ban on homosexuals again?
Lovley, georgeous couple too.
