lets open pregnancy camps where we can keep an eye on these pregnant women. women are far too feeble minded to ever be trusted with reproductive choice
The choice in reproduction needs to be made prior to conception. That is the responsible way to handle and respect life; not murdering an inconvenient innocent in the womb.
Interesting. I see the case involved parents whose unborn child was stillborn; they claim the doctor was negligent in not inducing labor earlier. The parents are suing the physician for negligence (I do not know any Utah law; it seems strange that they would not have been able to sue for medical negligence anyway).

yep pregnancy camps for all women and young girls who dare find themselves pregnant. no matter what the reason. unprotected sex, birth control failure and rape and incest. women should not be having sex unless they are willing to have a baby. these gals should be living by a better set of standards. forcing them to remain pregnant and bear and raise a child will serve em right for being so careless

Ever read the The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood?
Jay it is amazing how many people want women in this country to be treated like we live in a third world. make everyone live by "their" moral standard. women in america will never go back. we have the right to control our own bodies like it or not.
a dependent child must be a birth child, a legal stepchild or a foster child in your care
unborn child can not meet the definition of any of those so there is no need to handle your imaginary flood of "tax claims" for unborn fetuses.
Not according to the Utah Supreme Court ruling noted in the OP. They ruled an unborn fetus is a minor child. Minor children
are dependents. Dependent are tax exemptions.

That's right! So, if you are fat.....no sex for you. We can't have fat women becoming pregnant.....it is not good for the fetus!

If that is enforced I sense the population of Mississippi dropping drastically as the women won't be able to get pregnant anymore. Not to mention South Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama...
