As for "hard work" most Europeans do work hard since countries like Austria, Germany and the nordics have workers that produce more dollar value than US workers.
Uh huh....not having loads of school debt hanging over them...Handouts! Yeppers....

Here folks work hard to pay their own way through education. If it is not handouts, per their having less debt, what is it, then?

Bummer for you is that none of us gets everything that we want, and secondly...we often have to "give, to get." I don't see that coming from you. Not yet, anyway.

No most students have mommy or daddy pay for them or if they come from a poor family they usually have to take out massive loans.

Amazing how the USA has a 50% higher PPP per capita than the EU despite all of the EU's "superiority".

The sad part is we are not over who is better off, but who is less worse. Comparing the economic situation of the USA and the EU is like comparing the beauty of Rosie O'Donnell versus Rosanne Barr.

Is that what you've mostly been exposed to? Yeppers, there's something to be said for the younger generations of today perhaps being too spoiled? It's been a very long time since some teen has knocked on our front door, asking to mow the lawn for money.

However, I know youth still willing to work for what they have. More than one child of friends of mine are working to buy their own car, and their parents are paying their auto insurance, and things like that.

Perhaps you would like to live in Russia or China instead?
