Should be obvious, if a Democratic politician promises to make gay marriage and on demand abortion the law of the land, but take away all other rights and freedoms, libs will vote for them, swoon over them, even faint during their teleprompter speeches. A Democratic politician could do EVERYTHING libs hated and vilified Bush for doing, and in some cases double down on it, and libs will grovel at their feet, oh yeah, and vote to reelect them.

It does nto change the fact that conservatives have always been supportive of heavy fines, imprisonment and death penalty. And bills like NDAA for that matter.
Well, the Obama haters have ACLU and Human Rights Watch on your side, so with their help you may one day have it your way.
