Another instance of Government wasting our money and corrupting our kids.

"It is difficult to imagine half-a-million tax dollars being spent on a four-part video series that graphically attempts to alert kids of the dangers of “raw-dogging” (a.k.a. unprotected sex), yet that is precisely what the New York Department of Health has done with its new video campaign titled “More Than Just Sex.”

"Now, New York lawmaker State Sen. Martin Golden — who alleges the videos portray unprotected sex as “so good, so juicy”– is up in arms...“This video is raunchy,” Golden told Fox News. “It’s wrong, it’s shameful and they shouldn’t be doing it.”

So there wasn't enough material out there already to teach kids to use protection?

Considering the teen pregnancy rate as well as STD's, apparently not. Wear a raincoat idiots.

When it's "free money", there is no consideration for waste. It's very easy to spend Other People's Money.

I somehow managed to make it through the wild years without the itch, burn, or pregnancy. I didn't always use a condom, but I always exercised self control. I suppose there was some luck as well, but over all I acted responsibly.

It makes me wonder what's happening with our youth and our society? Government produces a "raw dogging" video and we're supposed to not ask questions as to why the video was needed in the first place?

This country is circling the drain. Very sad.

The only graphical part was using slang that young people use. It's as far from porn as a tampon ad is.

You are so right. There appears to no longer be an attempt to set standards; simply shrug our shoulders and stoop to the lowest level because there is no "right" or "wrong." There is no reason to not just do anything because it "feels good." And the Government will pay for little gritty programs to try and get down to "our level" and keep us safe, all the while knowing all it does is give the green light to younger and younger children to become sexually active. But, not to worry, we all know that Big Brother will be there to bail us out when we need it because we're pregnant and want an abortion or we're pregnant and don't want an abortion but need food stamps, WIC and welfare because we're 17 years old and single. Or we've contracted HIV and need medical care and have no job to pay for it. One big happy orgy that keeps Government employeed and able to reek in all their benefits and the plebs blissfully dependent - that is until Government runs out of other peoples' money, which we see happening now. Too bad those who keep giving it away don't.

They already are.

68 F3d 525 Brown v. Hot Sexy and Safer Productions Inc | OpenJurist

"The plaintiffs are two minors and their parents. The minors allege that they were compelled to attend an indecent AIDS and sex education program conducted at their public high school by defendant Hot, Sexy and Safer Productions ("Hot, Sexy, and Safer"). Plaintiffs allege, inter alia, that the compelled attendance deprived the minors of their privacy rights and their right to an educational environment free from sexual harassment."

We are the government. If you don't like what the government is doing, you can blame your fellow Americans.

With that said, I think the idea that the government is "corrupting" our kids is ridiculous.
