This whole thread is an exercise in ridiculousness.
I know i know, i agree with you friend. If parents knew just how much their young children really know, they would be surprised.
They know more then we give them credit for.
Any parents that bothered by the whole things, should leave their child with a grandparent or friend while shopping.
But trying to hide certain aspects of life from a child usually backfires, because todays young children, know more then we ever diid. sad but true.

You bet....hiding ones head in the sand is not doing the child any favors.
Spell and read are 2 different things, pay attention to context
Ah, the "personal attacks when you've got nothing else" ploy.
Ummm, your comment makes no sense.
If your kid can't read, what is it spelling?
Where's the context?
Why would you teach your kid to spell something without defining it?
Shouldn't a 6 year old be in the first grade?
They teach reading in the first grade and kindergarten these days.

A child that can read has not necessarily spelled sex yet (you know, written word?) You took my post wrong earlier (like I give a flyin F)

I took you at your words. You know, you're saying words matter.
With your applied language skills and swearing to make your point, no wonder your poor kid is confused.
You say the F word and worry about sex being written on a magazine.
Neither word, F nor Sh*t, were required to be part of your posts.
If you're not willing to teach your child, that's on you.
Sh*t and Bi**h were on the covers of these mags,, are you still glad. Give a child a condom today huh?
why so offensive?
