I read that many Catholic employers already have this coverage, it's just part of the regular prescription drug plans. Religious exemptions shouldn't infringe on medical coverage. Not all employees are Catholic and Catholics use contraceptives as much as anyone so this is really not much of an issue...it only sounds like one. Like I said, they are still in this country with the rest of us, picking and choosing is silly.
"Dolan added, “To force American citizens to choose between violating their consciences and forgoing their healthcare is literally unconscionable. It is as much an attack on access to health care as on religious freedom. Historically this represents a challenge and a compromise of our religious liberty.”
"This is nothing less than a direct attack on religion and First Amendment rights,” said Franciscan Sister Jane Marie Klein, chairperson of the board at Franciscan Alliance, Inc., a system of 13 Catholic hospitals."
We need to get this man OUT of the White House ASAP. Every day it becomes clearer and clearer that he is destroying our precious freedom.
Why? Does the Bible say that using contraception and other forms of birth control is wrong and immoral for Catholics to have anything to do with? If so, can someone quote Bible verses where this is pointed out?
There are many reliigous people that feel they are. They should not be forced to pay for them.
Once the Catholics protest louder over paying reparations to the victims of the pedophile priests that their Church worked so feverishly to protect from prosecution - then I might take their moral qualms into consideration. Until then, sorry - you don't get to play the "against our moral conscience" card. Not yours.

Sure they should. We all have to do stuff we don't like, it's called living in society.
