"Speech" is the key word and no, I don't agree with the broader interpretations that basically let you act like an ass and be protected from your own stupidity. Threats are never covered no matter how funny or cute you think you are being.

It's got nothing to do with anyone "being above" the constitution but you know that and just wanted an excuse to type "Obummer". We all know it.

Can some of you who are chastising those in the T-shirt story show me a single post of yours in which you say the same thing about any of the pics at the above link?

Just one?
If you can show us a thread where a member on here posted those images or a story about someone posting those images then you would have a point. How can anyone comment on a thread that does not exist?? If this thread was never created I would have never commented on your beloved chastised patriot.

I don't know, but there was this: Secret Service confiscates anti-Bush drawings by 15-year-old at Prosser High - seattlepi.com

The only speech that is not protected by the First Amendment is that which can cause physical harm to people like yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater along with libel and slander. The previous poster is right about more threats against Bush than Obama.

And I don't agree with the broader interpretations, like I say in every "free speech my ass" post.

This can just as easily be interpreted as a "fire" type of thing though and yes, all politicians get it.

Good job on getting investigated by the secret service. Your names are now on a list for life. Good luck getting a job that requires a background check. Sometimes freedom of speech is not free.
What the hell is up with Arizona these days. Is there where all the nutcases have moved to?

News, Man accused of threatening to kill Bush, blow up White House.
Silence.

Man who served time for threats to kill Bush behind the plot to blow up Mosque
Silence.

There's more. Feel free to dig around. Search engines are great when you want to search for stuff. I'm done doing your research for you.

What is it with you lefties inferring things? Geez! Stop lying already!

I made it pretty clear that shooting up the t-shirt wasn't a smart thing to do. Taking a photo of it was even less of a bright idea.

Now stop taking things out of context, posting your inferences and generally writing sensationalistic garbage. Instead, try debating like adults debate - with facts, honesty and without injecting any unnecessary emotion.

Seriously stoooopid. Enjoy talking to the secret service morons.

P.S. There have been enough politicians etc. shot over the years would that be potentially considered some sort of violation of the law in terms of threat or intimidation?
Your so correct, people are really stupid. I don't care about OBAMA, but i'm not a hypocrite either, i never have, never will my option.

However it is all based on politics nothing more. Really is not. I'm not going to go around making threats, or putting bullets in a t-shirt with Obama's name on it.

Free speech and all, yeah i know, but the bullet takes it to another level. What really is the intent.

What kinds of moron would do this type of act, and think, no one would pay attention.
People are more ignorant then i can imagine.

And i honestly do not hate Obama, not liking is one thing, hated, is another level all together, that should be truly for those who deserve hate.

I would definitely investigate, to get the whole story on this.
