I find it interesting that the people here on C-D I'd like to see exposed are also the ones having a negative reaction towards this.

But I do not agree that BBC had the right to confront him and put him on TV. As ugly as his opinions were, he had a right to them. It is called Free Speech.

I agree. I don't like racists or trolls, but their right to post whatever hateful and stupid messages is the same as my right to reply to them.

One question I did think of, though, was he posting his trolls from home or from work? If it's from work, there may be some legal liability for him.

One of the same morons who accused me of racism because I dared disagree with him on illegal immigration sent me a pm accusing me of posting on another message board that is dedicated to views that literally make me want to vomit. So, yes, it is frightening to be grouped with Nazis by lunatics clearly on a crusade. I've also had nasty pm's on another board because I've told off anti-vax nuts.

While this guy is clearly a racist, I think people should be very careful about this sort of thing. The guy has a right to his views and he has the right to say them without being threatened over it. I can certainly see someone deciding that he should be physically hurt because of what he wrote.

That's a prospect that should frighten us all.
