(CNN) -- Americans should avoid all but essential travel to all or parts of 14 Mexican states, the U.S. State Department warns as violence has spread.
Shootouts, kidnappings and carjackings have climbed, as have cartels, also known as transnational criminal organizations (TCO), the State Department said this week in a broadened travel warning.
Three million little girls playing outside their homes are killed by ricocheting bullets? Where is that information from, some macabre version of the Onion?
I have lived on the border all of my life. As a young man, I crossed regularly and enjoyed the clubs, the dinner clubs and the shopping. I never felt in danger. Now, I haven't been back in over 15 years. There are routine random shootings and there is a virtual war going on. Women in particular go missing almost every day in Mexico. The cartels are only part of the problem. Mexico has one of the most corrupt governments in the world. The local police as well as the federalis are on the take from the cartels, and those who aren't are systematically killed. Not my idea of a enjoyable vacation spot. My advice.. Don't go to Mexico... At ALL......
According to your link 150,000 people cross the border into Mexico every day, or 54,750,000 people
a year and only 120 get killed....I wouldn't worry too much!

Seems like the graphic is unneccesarily sensationalist. Everyone in the Yucatan was beheaded?

In your haste to discredit any anti-illegal alien website you missed the fact that CNN is responsible for this article. Does it make the warning credible enough for you now?

Could it be because it says 3 million little girls playing outside their homes are killed by ricocheting bullets?
Or that 9 million innocent bystanders were killed in crossfires?
Everyone in Yucatan was beheaded by one of the Mexican cartels?
A 200,000 square mile pool of blood formed outside Mexico City?
Talk about disinformation by the Americans for Legal Immigration website, this qualifies for the quack OP of the year...
