I have always felt the Democrats work very hard to divide our nation. In the Democratic play book it is very important to identify everyone as black, white, hispanic, gay, woman, etc..etc..etc...then play one group against another. The Republicans really don't do this and are more interested in people getting a good education, job, life etc....
Democrats don't "identify" everyone.......they simply "are" what they are. Nor do they play any of those groups you mentioned "against" each other, we unite them as a force to play all of the middle class, hardworking real Americans against the elite, overly wealthy powergrabbers that make up the Republican state of mind. The only identifiying markes of the vast differences in the Republican crowds are the color of their ties and the vomit spewing from their mouths
Are there actual quotes where the RNC or Republican leadership claimed that entire swaths of America are not real America? BTW, you do understand that the word real is an adjective, right?
I'm sure you couldn't stomach watching the clip (hey, I don't blame you, I rarely watch the youtube clips people post here) but the general consensus I got from it was that, lately, Republican "candidates" are using the term "the real America" or "the real Amercans" in their talking points. They have been verbally sneering at those who living in big cities or in Washington DC/Chicago/San Franscisco as being out of touch or elitist.
Now, Bill is not saying that those in Congress are doing that; however, he was talking predominantly about Newt Gingrich and quoted some of his recent ramblings which definitely seem to pit some geographical areas against others. As a citizen who lives in the Washington DC area, I see where he's going with this--as if everyone who lives in DC is evil and corrupt. Hey, we've got real people living here to, as does NYC and California.

Here's a question: If Barack Obama had been white would he have beaten Hillary Clinton for the nomination? Would he have even been on the Democratic radar? And try to be honest with yourself here.

Maybe they are tired of being called "flyover country".
Would you say an Evangelical Church is "right wing"? Because I have always attended an Evangelical church, and I have never heard any "racism" preached. Not once. Never.
But the church that Barack Obama attended for 20 years taught hatred of whites. Or did you not know this? What is black liberation theology to you? That is what he heard for 20 years.
I don't think you know what you are talking about.
Finally, let me say this clearly. Barack Obama won the election on the basis of his race. He was black. To not vote for Barack Obama made one a racist, and secondly; it was "fashionable" to vote for who would be America's first black president.
I didn't vote for him. I did my homework. I knew who he was. But I was called "racist" on here for attempting to expose the truth, and so were many others. We still are. And I'll bet in your next post, you are going to call me a racist, aren't you?
Sorry. Won't work. I was a Herman Cain supporter. He is a good man. Too bad the liberals saw him as too Conservative, and a Conservative black man cannot stand. Clarence Thomas all over again. Now, who are the racists?
But Barack Obama is a tool. And he is "progressive" (socialist/Marxist), not conservative. He is being used to accomplish their agenda. That is the difference.
Black or not, in my view Cain would have been a catastrophe as a president, sorry.
I think some whites only support Cain because they use him to make it seem that their dislike of Obama has nothing to do with race. If Cain were white, hardly anyone would have fallen for his simplistic solutions and dubious character (affairs).
I remember there were conspiracy theories for some time saying the allegations were just made up to bring him down, that he was framed, with reference to DSK.
