Apparently, Chase has established a policy where they send away people who aren’t happy with their service. There is no attempt to rectify the situation. They just want you, the problem, to get lost.

Why waste their time keeping someone happy? There are plenty of other customers to rip off on both ends of banking (low savings interest rates and high borrowing interest rates).
With this situation in mind, boycott Chase. It is the customer that comes first, and if they are too lazy to give good service, then they don’t deserve to have any customers, plain and simple.

Capitalism works when customers speak out.

What established policy would this be? If you don't pay your bill they try and still get you to pay? How dare they.

No, the solution is to not use them at all. They are not necessary for survival. God Bless American capitalism and the right to choose. It lets the market weed out banks which do not address consumers needs. There is no need to have usurious interest. Use a credit union.

Yup, I was one of the many who changed banks (Away from BoA) when the debit card fees were proposed. Lo and behold, BoA had a change of heart...

Wasn't enough for me to come back, though as I know they're just trying to conjure up some new way to f*** me.... I love my new credit union...

have to wait to rep you again. Consumers really do have the power to make change. It just takes action.

I agree. I think that our "buying" power is all that we have left.

I'm a little confused. What do you mean "they send people away who aren't happy with their service?" Do you mean cancel their cards?

Boycotting would be the most effective action IMO. I now bank completely with my Credit Union and am very happy with their service.

When a Business has no reason to fear failure or bankruptcy, (I.E. "Too Big To Fail Banks" such as Chase) gone is customer service, gone is moral and societal obligation and gone is a truly honest and consumer driven market.

One of my favorite little family run restaurant earned an extra visit from me when they published (on their website) that they will no longer accept credit cards.
