Would you say it's safe to assume that those who took the test scored as high as they possibly could? Please explain how hiring those with the highest scores doesn't make sense.
It doesn't make sense that in the past they didn't do that. Now all of a sudden they want to raise the bar? Not to mention that the tops candidates were not necessasrily chosen, the hired candidates were chosen randomly from a list.
I'm not saying that hiring the people with the highest score doesn't make sense. What I'm saying is, they should have told the candidates at the beginning of the hiring process that they were taking the highest scores. The City DID NOT TELL THE CANDIDATES THEY WERE ONLY CONSIDERING PEOPLE WHO GOT AN 89 OR HIGHER BEFORE THEY DECIDED TO TAKE THE EXAM. That is the issue. What is so hard to understand? The city ONLY decided to look at people with 89 or above once the exams were complete. That looks suspicious.

did they sue? no they didn't. If they did sue, they would have won also.
For all you white people on this forum who have an issue with this, you are going to have to understand, when you do something that appears racially motivated, whether it was intentional or not, we are going to call you out on it. Until white people are no longer the majority and aren't the major power, this is the world you live in. Affirmative Action will not go away until racism is gone, or you aren't in power, whichever comes first.
I think they should hire in the order testing shows candidates to be most qualified, black, white, yellow, red, purple, green, whatever. It's time we truly have EQUAL opportunity hiring.
They should have told the candidates that from the beginning. When you do it after the exams are taken, it gives the appearance that they were trying to exclude blacks.

Well, maybe if the underclass ghetto blacks would quit acting like idiots, it would be easier for whites not to be racist. Don't you see how his class of blacks is causing a negative impact on blacks in general.
I guess those eyes are good enough because they won the lawsuit.
