That's just posturing. It's part and parcel of PSY-OPS Warfare.

The US mans AWAC crews in (Saudi Arabia). You don't think US satellite recon, AWACs operating in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the region, and carrier based E-2s in the Med, the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf are going to see 150+ aircraft take off from Israeli airfields?

You don't think the intel sections at US diplomatic missions in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel aren't going to hear all of the chatter on the radio? Or any other comm signals?

Depending on the source, Israel has 4 to 8 KC-135s, but if that would be true, you don't know the operational readiness of those aircraft. Even if all 8 were operationally ready, they can only refuel a maximum of 48 aircraft.

48 aircraft will do absolutely nothing to Iran's peaceful nuclear energy program, and what is even more horrifying, is that Israeli pilots will run out of fuel and have to eject over Iranian air space where they will become POWs.

Physics rules!....

I myself am not of the opinion that we "wouldn't know." I'm absolutely sure that we would know. I agree with your assessment....I should have elaborated further in the OP.

Companies should get tax credits for allowing people to telecommute IMO. There are jobs out there that don't require going into an office yet the old school corporate mentality is that people have to. The lamest excuse is that they are worried about the people slacking off or productivity dropping. If you are that worried then why hire the person in the first place?

No commute = sleeping longer = more refreshed = higher productivity and less stress from commuting. Hell I would work 2 extra hours per day if I could just to not sit in traffic.
^^^This is why I moved 11 years ago from a major city to a smaller one. I save about 2 hours a day in commuting time.

OUr company used to allow more work from home and then started to greatly curtail it about a year or so ago.

Of course, the Israelis have to know that someone in Washington would "leak" the news before they carried it off. Surely Washington is the leakiest place in the world about things like this. I don't think that we could have carried off the D-Day attack without someone leaking the date, place, and hour if it were to be done today.

I view this as a very good way to drag us in but I do think that our government could have done something to stop the whole thing long ago and wonder why it didn't.

Because someone warned Usama, right?

Do what? What lasting solution do you propose to end centuries of conflict? Anything else is a Band-Aid and shouldn't be our responsibility.

Last time I checked Israel was a soveriegn nation and had a duty to her people to defend their country.

Only Obama and Congress; or has been the reality: Obama without Congressional approval, can drag the US into another war.

IIRC, Pres. Reagan failed to warn PM Thatcher before invading Grenada.

Right there states your ignorance on this topic, he was born in Hawaii.

Not trusting Washington is one thing, thinking they are going to call Iran about an impending Israeli attack is preposterous.

Believe what you want where he was born, his actions say other-than-America.

Not preposterous at all, did his worship do any thing when the freedom loving peoples of Iran were crying out for help against their totalitarian regime?

Heck no, his worship was out on the golf course totally ignoring them....
