So he passed the "got hypocrisy" test for liberal NY politics. Looks like he's want pension #3 too since he already has two from the ferderal government as a veteran and a retired postal worker. An entire life on the taxpayer dole. Yup, a politicians qualifications alright!

Just being a Devil's advocate: just because his rent is not too damn high doesn't mean others' rent is not too damn high. You could argue that his situation is not common for most people, and that his candidacy is a reflection of his commitment to others to do something about their rent being too damn high.

You could argue that when the rent becomes too damn high it's time to move to the projects. Maybe his constituents chose to live above their means, and now wants more free handouts (entitlements). You know - that redistribution-of-wealth little thingy that Obama likes so much!

Somehow the media makes everyone want higher housing and blaming bad economy on low house prices... yea like anyone with a brain wants overpriced housing and pay high mortgages. They should be shelters not investments and businesses

How do you qualify for a military pension by peeling potatos and cleaning latrines?
