Look at the # of stations and the kind of stations the Democracy Now is on Nationwide. D.N. is run by Amy Goodman, who is as important to progressives as Laura Ingraham and Glenn Beck are to Conservatives. Part 2 ibelow, after the 1st link.

Democracy Now! | Locate A Station

In Texas, D.N. is only on 6 (low powered, end of dial) stations, while Hannity is on 25 :>(, most of them regular or even 50k watt, stations.

Now look at how many stations Hannity (#2 con talk show host) is on.

Radio Stations - The Sean Hannity Show.

Amy Goodman's show is on 2 low power, end of the dial, stations in Georgia, Hannity's show is on 20. Why folks think there's a liberal media bias and conspiracy is beyond me.
I like Obama, but it's a shame that no one in his administration seems to care about this and in the less than likely event that Romney beats him, he can factor in this, into some of his defeat.

Despite Democracy Now! being liberal, they are more objective than Current (funded by Al Gore), MSNBC, or CNN and any number of the mainstream liberal papers. Every site most of the liberals repeatedly cite on this board are corporatist sources with a liberal bias that are in bed with the Obama Administration, Al Gore, George Soros, and the rest of the globalist cabal.

I would say Democracy Now! is more of an honest, albeit misinformed, news outlet. The rest are deliberate disinformation, lumped in there with Fox News and their affiliates.

The newspapers and TV are in the can to protect and get Democrats elected with the exception of one or two things here and there. I would say 95% lean heavily left.

Radio has news, and then it has opinion shows.
IMO news is not even handed and often takes it off the AP which is left as well.
Opinion shows in radio are all over the place, but the ones that get patronized and have a long life are conservative.

Dave Letterman believe it or not affects political decisions (god help us) and he is a big lefty.
Leno is not as left IMO.
Comedy central is left all the way. (so indoctrinate those kids)
MTV is?

The conclusion I've come with is this:

The Obama cheerleaders cry that the media doesn't have a liberal bias

The Fox News cheerleaders cry that the media has a liberal bias

Those of us that are awake know that there is no such thing as a liberal or conservative biased US media outlet. At the end of the day, both "sides" sell war, police state, and big intrusive government to the general public and to "go back to sleep, nothing to see here"

Otherwise to the OP topic, the right overwhelmingly dominates AM radio that's for sure, mainly as the largest demographic that listens often to AM radio is mostly the geezers whom are also usually very conservative.

With Liberals being only 21% of the population and conservatives TWICE that, the media should reflect a very conservative bias--simply to reflect reality.

In truth, our media and our government is so radically far to the liberal left, that a moderate conservative is seemingly the "lunatic fringe." Thanks to the sheer ineptitude of liberal governance, however, we'll we back to the Founding Fathers' Libertarian successes soon after TSHTF--as it inevitably will, now.
