The German newspaper "Die Welt" is published by Axel Springer Publishing, which also publishes a daily tabloid, "Bild Zeitung", a simplistic, blue collar that appeals (with anti-foreigner sentiment and vigorously against the Left) to German blue collars. Axel Springer Verlag is very conservative and, among Germans, has acquired a reputation as sometimes being extremist in opinion, also as a voice for reactionaries. The Springer Verlag supports just about anything done by the political Right.
