The Hollywood liberal elite are hyping this bogus story. Kony is the new "Bin Laden". I don't like Glenn Beck either. He's a right wing extremist tool bag.
In other words there is nothing 'liberal' about the story. You don't like it because the people you hate agree with it.
What is to liberal about the "Kony story"? Kony has been killing people for over 20 years and just because you didn't know about it, doesn't mean the story is fake. Do some research on your own and then decide if it is true or false. I lived in East Africa, and I happen to know it is true. Kony is a murderer.
Oh, I get it. You lived on the same continent as Kony, therefore you are endowed with special knowledge the rest of us aren't privy to. Even people from Uganda state there is a lot more to the story than a slickly produced hipster "documentary" leads one to believe. Regardless, there are human rights abuses the whole world over. Should the US military police the world? I thought you liberals were against that sort of thing... inserting ourselves into other countries' sovereign affairs.

But critics here said the video glosses over a complicated history that made it possible for Kony to rise to the notoriety he has today. They also lamented that the video does not inform viewers that Kony originally was waging war against Uganda's army, whose human rights record has been condemned as brutal by independent observers.
"There is no historical context. It's more like a fashion thing," said Timothy Kalyegira, a well-known social critic in Uganda who once published a newsletter called The Uganda Record.
Ogenga Latigo, a politician from northern Uganda who previously led the opposition in Uganda's Parliament, said Invisible Children's perspective was too narrow to be allowed to define the popular understanding of an insurgency that displaced millions and in which thousands were killed or abducted.
"If we do not expand our Military presence into Africa by Land, Sea and Air our supply contractors will face decreasing demand for their products, falling stock prices and diminished political power. This would also diminish the job prospects and wealth of our General Staff. That must be prevented regardless of how many US service people and unfortunate native people have to be sacrificed. Our futures depend on the continuous growth of WAR." US Military Industrial complex and General Staff.
Enlist and reenlist and reenlist and reenlist and reenlist and reenlist and reenlist in the FOREVER WAR! Be a Patriot and support the General Staff. They know more and are better than you.
