Nah, you're just deliberately overlooking the fact that during the civil rights struggle, the Democrats had the balls to to the right thing and disavow Jim Crow and segregation. Thus alienating a sh.tload of racist voters in the South - a group that the Republicans then deliberately courted - the "Southern Strategy".

He probably thinks tap dancing is a noble profession...

I'm not sure what you're asking, but Jim Crow was supported and established by the Dems. Hence my original response to the poster who stated that Republicans wanted Jim Crow. Just thought it was kind of strange to suggest otherwise.

Why waste facts, some people are happy being considered "less than".

Then it occurred to me, this person must be relatively young. Most young folk today have no problem spouting off ignorance if someone else told them it was okay.

Adults have an outlook based on reality and experience.

Just as Woodrow Wilson was a Democrat who's favorite movie was "Birth of a Nation"

Your point?

typical response from the Democratic plantation. Ask him who hung a noose on his door knob or burned a cross on his lawn and he points at everyone.

May be (not guaranteed). Republicanism has changed since its inception. For that reason, it ain't anymore Lincoln's party. When you speak of social issues and their take within the society, if you want to sound more educated than you do, make sure you realize the fact that the republican and democratic words have gone through phases in their implementation.

For that matter, do you know how the "blue" South turned "red" in the 1960s? (Hint: It had to do with such democrats that you speak of, move to the party they ideologically aligned with... the republicans).

All that and still smiling from the Ghetto.
