According to the Survey of Inmates of State Correctional Facilities by the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Statistics, the following statistics have been recorded concerning the characteristics of offenders who violate and assault children.
* Those inmates who were convicted of committing violent acts against children were more like to have been white, a percentage of nearly 70%, than any other race.
* White inmates were nearly three times more likely to have victimized a child than black inmates.
* About one in every seven Hispanic convicts had been convicted for a crime against a child.
So more Blacks are in prison for murder than whites and more whites are in prison for pedophilia. Now riddle me this how many inmates are in prison for murder and how many are in prison for pedophilia?
Hey'the higher nuber of pedifiles against children and othes we catch and convicted the better :IMO.e have come along ways in recent years from when much opf it was hidden within families and the actor family members.

Actually, of two of my friends who's fathers molested them, they were white.
Noted molesters: include Sandusky and the creep that kidnapped the Dugard girl and kept her prisoner for so many years, they were both white.
I don't know the statistics but of those I know who had this happen, the perpetrator was white.
When I think of serial killers, most of them were white. Think of Bundy, the Clown guy (killed 17 teens, raped them and buried them under his house- Oh Gacy. John Wayne Gacy.) The Zodiac Killer was white.
The hispanic guy who raped who killed in Cali, what was his name?
But most notorious serial killers were white. (my opinion of course).

That's the missing number.
I found a DOJ report on RELEASED child molesters, that gave a number, but the report was from 1994, having no luck finding a more updated report. And even though 70+% were white, when the math was done, compared to whites, blacks and hispanics were more likely to be child molesters with a >96% to hispanics, a >59% to blacks and <35% to whites, and a <58% to "others".

But by race, Whites made up 75.8% of all the child exploitation charges based on data from 2006. Whites were also the perpertrators 88.9% of all child pornography cases according to the 2006 data. And yes, Hispanics were counted separately in this data.
So am I, everything that's been posted so far shows the exact opposite of what the OP was insinuating.
