And just think it all started when Jan Brewer - the wicked witch of the west - became governor. Some republican women are just evil.

Any governor who tries to enforce federal law because the feds won't do so has to be a really nasty person, male or female. Is that what you are saying?

Arizona is now officially home of the RWNJ, amazing that one small state can provide so much hot air. Hopefully thinking minds in Arizona, if there are any left, will put an end to the RWNJ's running the state and part of their law enforcement before it is too late to save and the US is forced pay Mexico to take it back

Arizona has now banned abortion because of the possibility of virgin birth? How appropriate considering the date.

Hey, when you have no solutions for the economy or job creation, what else is left beside pandering to the evangelicals/misogynists?

Yay, another bill that also prohibits the removal of a dead fetus after "20 weeks".

Quote:
B. EXCEPT IN A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, A PERSON SHALL NOT KNOWINGLY
35 PERFORM, INDUCE OR ATTEMPT TO PERFORM OR INDUCE AN ABORTION ON A PREGNANT
36 WOMAN IF THE PROBABLE GESTATIONAL AGE OF HER UNBORN CHILD HAS BEEN DETERMINED
37 TO BE AT LEAST TWENTY WEEKS.
Note the definition of abortion as referred to in this bill:

Quote:
1. "Abortion" means the use of any means with the intent to terminate
7 a woman's pregnancy for reasons other than to increase the probability of a
8 live birth, to preserve the life or health of the child after a live birth,
9 to terminate an ectopic pregnancy or to remove a dead fetus. Abortion does
10 not include birth control devices or oral contraceptives.

It appears it does include an exception for intrauterine fetal death, which is a good thing.
