Hey, if those religious institutions want to reap the benefits of 'stimulus money' then they should have been paying taxes all along. You can't claim tax exempt status and then get pissed when you're denied government money.

Sure you can. Think about all the folks who don't pay taxes who stand to receive federal benefits form the stimulus plan. Not to mention the NEA, NPR, PBS, and all the other tax-exempt groups who feed regularly at the public trough...
