The electronic issue isn't really about Obama, but about the system we have. Scytl is just part of it. Diebold and Seq were sold to Dominion. Then you have ES&S and Hart. Hart also has big bank Capital money.
There has been a history of issues and conflicts. ES&S a different history with financing (McCarthy Capital) and DVS is a Canadian company that is a bit more "mysterious" in the financing.

The 2004 election had some major discrepancies. Some only coming to light now. I am sure many Kerry supporters were disappointed w/ his about face. This election system really is a huge deal that the media, govt et al has ignored.

They just caught an election in FL which was wrong. Only the paper ballots saved it. They had to get a judge to give permission.

Chester A. Arthur ran for reelection in 1884
Andrew Johnson ran for reeelection in 1868
Franklin Pierce ran for reelection in 1856
Millard Fillmore ran for reelection in 1852

That would bring the number to 16

Whats broken about the upcoming election? people are going to go and vote and there will be a winner and a loser..Maybe an elaboration on whats broke might be helpful.

As for Obama needing to fix an election? he's going to win anyway so why would he need to fix it?
I suspect after he does win the rallying cry from the right will be" Its fixed" when in fact the Republicans kind of fixed it all by themselves by
losing the womans vote,
losing the Latino vote.
Losing the Black vote.
Losing any union vote
losing any one who would benefit from Obamacare
And thanks to the tea parties extremism losing the undecided vote.
Kinda gives a whole new meaning to the word loser

I was being facetious - specifically I was being intentionally absurd in response to what i thought was a ridiculous question.

The Republicans do not care who is elected president. It does not matter.

They are after the Senate and the House. Having a president who can be a foil serves them best.

The D's would do the same thing if they could.
