What effect, if any, do you think Obama has had on race relations in our country?

I figure they remained the same, although whites are coming out of the closet with their racism. But Obama has alienated everyone. While he hasn't done much to improve gender relations, he certainly has made gender relations much worse.

The Obama Administration is basically trying to divide America in all angles and it's working. People sure are pulling the race card even more since his administration.

Obama is not the president of the United States. He made himself the president of the liberal party only. Obama is always in campaign mode and is the most negative president I have ever heard and I have listened to many presidents over the years.

I would say more so since he became President. There is more of a racial divide among the people. I have not seen this or heard this in such a long time until he became PRESDIENT.

Based on things i see and hear. I hear a lot of white people complaining about thing i rather not go into right here, but complaints. I hear black people i have heard a black women state, she hopes we don't go back to the white guy President.
I just hear more griping more so then i can remember. I never remember the remarks as i now hear. So i would have to say more so if i am going to keep this honest.
Obama is a man that alienates any one person, who disagrees with him.

Obama has been the single most divisive president in my lifetime, IMO. He thrives on dividing and conquering but claims to be the Great Uniter. What a farce. Race relations have vastly deteriorated under his presidency. It's sad.

Its worse but not because of Obama. The white Christian male power structure went into Defcon 4 with the Obama election. Whats funny is the number of women that went along?

I figure you did this thread to attack Obama but he had the right (supposedly)as a citizen to run for President. Funny how that really only applies to certain ones. Yet somehow he won and that is why relations are bad. Angry hate from the right that has been shown every hour of everyday since he won.

Yeah I know bush made us blacks feel so wlcomed and loved. Im sure many white people in 2016 will feel once Obama is gone if their is a white man in the white house things are as "they should be" with race relations.
