Almost all states have laws concerning voting aside from the Photo ID thing. Should all the existing laws also be declared unconstitutional ?
Like what laws?

I am not a Democrat, and this National ID move is being pushed by Republicans. A mandate for National ID cards make a lof of people uncomfortable, regardless of their political party. A lot of people have opposed them for decades.

Hmmm.

So if someone would lie about voting - what makes you think that they might not lie about who they are at the voting station?

Ever hear of welfare fraud? I don't think people guilty of fraud should be trusted without Photo ID while voting.

Remember ACORN submitting false voter registration forms? These kind of people are unethical and untrustworthy.

You can trust people if you want to.

I don't.

Who said anything about a National ID.

Do you have a driver's license? Good enough.

Do you know how much Google knows about you or how much the IRS will know about you if Obamacare isn't found unconstitutional? Of course it is unconstitutional. But, since when does that matter to Democrats on the Supreme Court?

Are you aware that ANYONE can buy a state photo ID from China that is foolproof. LE cannot detect fakes, how would a poll worker detect a fake?

When are poll workers checking photo id's for mailed in absentee ballot requests? If you're going to apply the law to some it needs to apply to all.

I'd be interested in a source for that claim.

No ID? Sure, go vote!

But make a fuss on a Houston city bus and uh-oh!

Oh yeah, no one reporting on that - let's all practice our goose steps!

I don't know about ID, but what about an intelligence test?

After all, if 90% of voters don't study political issues beyond what's handed to them on the evening news...... well, the voter results will speak for themselves.

Peace,
brian

So, you think the government should force everyone to purchase driving classes an a driver licence. They are quite expensive, not to mention that fact that some will be denied, and in this case it means the revocation of voting rights.

Of course it is about a National ID, and expansion of government control. Don't be naive.
