You do something stupid and you’re kept out of school dances. She should have known better. Better yet being a minor her parents should have known better.
Says in the article that the school had had race incidents in the past, and that she was told beforehand not to wear the dress. The other kids were fine with it apparently, but all it takes is one person to cry RACISM before the entire school is engulfed in controversy.
She probably wanted her 15 minutes of fame. These students are always in the news because of some school system not allowing them to wear something. It's a publicity stunt and was meant to cause a reaction and she wasn't allowed to do it.
Really no contrroversy here. There are rednecks in Tennessee...who knew?
