Says in the article that the school had had race incidents in the past, and that she was told beforehand not to wear the dress. The other kids were fine with it apparently, but all it takes is one person to cry RACISM before the entire school is engulfed in controversy.

Good on the school for avoiding an incident.

Not when it comes to school no there isn't.

She probably wanted her 15 minutes of fame. These students are always in the news because of some school system not allowing them to wear something. It's a publicity stunt and was meant to cause a reaction and she wasn't allowed to do it.

The endorsement of the Confederate flag is as big a symbol as anything anti-American that I can think of.
