Bill Clinton that is. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember Reagan's name being brought into every debate when Clinton was in office. Was his presence so strong (right or wrong) that 3 terms out of office his name still has to be brought up? I'm just asking because almost every thread has his name in it even though the thread isn't about him.
Clinton served 8 years, and there as a 4 year term in between Clinton and Reagan. I don't see it as irrelevant if there is a point behind the reference. Do you think people will stop bringing up Bush2 7 years after he leaves the White House? I doubt it too. It all comes down to what the reference is and why. Sometimes Clinton is just brought up to complain about, but the same thing really goes for all politicians. Some times they are brought up to complain about with no real objective reference as to why their name is being tossed into the discussion.
