An entertaining and informative read:

A Complete Guide to 'Hipster Racism'

It's all tied up with the deliberately obtuse people who conflate "freedom of speech" with "immunity from criticism."

Have you encountered these people? Are you in fact, one of them?

Nope. You find this sort of thing in blue states, or big cities with large homogenous suburbs, or the really weenie-liberal sort of people. The people smart enough to know their political-correctness is B.S., but not ballsy enough to own up to their true beliefs.

Where I'm from , people are pretty open regarding how they feel about various races or groups. There is not so much fear of stereotyping people.

That link was pretty funny....and kinda spot on in a weird kinda way. Makes you think at least.

And no, i haven't really encountered people like that in any real numbers. Well, maybe a few times.

More like hypocritical people from any state, who are following natural human nature of being hypocritical when the benefits prove fruitful.

No lie:

d i e h i p s t e r . c o m

WARNING, graphic language....

I realized hipsters were deranged when I read about a hipster "happening" where a theater was sold out in Brooklyn, NY to witness a woman having her baby on stage...

How can you tell if a hipster is riding a bicycle?

Oh yea? Just how open are they? I mean, i lived in Georgia for a little over a year in what was considered a pretty racist part of the state, and i saw the same surreptitious and sneaky kind of racism that i found everywhere else. And everywhere else i've been in the South has been the same damn way.

eh.. Hipsters are extremely scarce in some areas .

In South Carolina, for example, you find them huddled together in little groups on college campuses, wearing women's jeans, wondering why they went to school there, and wishing they were back in New Jersey.

a. Where'd you live in Georgia?

b. What do you describe as "surreptitious and sneaky kind of racism" ? It's not at all clear to me that we're talking about the same thing. Georgia is not known for its weenie-liberal hipsters.
