Wel if the people who were offended by the mention of the Bible had already left the room, and then Savage called their actions "pansy-assed," I don't call that bullying. It's certainly rude, but not bullying.
Most of those who were offended started leaving when Savage said something along the lines of there's plenty of shi* in the Bible that Christians ignore and don't have a problem ignoring. Simple statement of fact that some people took offense too. By the time the time he made the comment about the "pansy-assed" actions of those that left, those who were offended were gone. Not sure that can constitute bullying. Certainly rude. But even with online bullying, you'd have to be part of the potential audience to be bullied, and that wasn't the case here.
The bible did not say Jesus destroyed the law , he came to fulfill the law. We are to give grace for the remission of sins.. which is repenting of the sin. It does not say it is no longer sin. It remains sin always and Jesus died for the remission of sin to become a child of God and follow Jesus through the Holy Spirit and the word of God. We become overcomers of sin through Jesus Christ.
Homosexuality isn't a sin though. I mean, come on. Jesus Christ himself was gay:
The man has no credence because he dislikes Christians and the word of God. He does not agree that God himself declared homosexuality as being an abomination . He has declared himself to be higher than God . And we know who did that in the beginning.
As if your Christian persecution complex would allow you to see anything different.

What does this gibberish (sorry, but that's how it reads to non-Christians) have to do with cherry-picking when you do or do not follow Abrahamic law?

So, nobody is allowed to challenge your beliefs? I don't know about Christianity, but in Judaism we are taught to welcome such challenges... not to put our fingers in our ears and say "neener neener, I can't hear you!" Questioning is a good thing, and so is evolving with the times - at least that's what we're taught in the religion which spawned yours.
But again, trying to reason with a fundamental Christian is pointless, since you seem to have abandoned these teachings (questioning and welcoming non-believers to express their opinions).
P.S. Dan Savage is a self-identified Catholic, and I know many Catholics and Christians who don't condemn homosexuality. But I guess you think you know the only truth? Talk about revering yourself as higher than the Lord, LOL.
Name calling can be a weapon of a bully. However, in this case it's not - not by a mile.
Yes.
No, you can in fact be cyber-bullied. However, simply calling somebody a name over the internet is not bullying (just like Savage referring to the departing students as "pansy-asses" is not bullying). If what you're asking were the case, then I'm the victim of extensive bullying here on city-data. I can't count the number of times I've been called a *******, or a sinner, or a sodomite, a Nancy, Mary, referred to as "she," etc, etc, etc.
So really it's just all in the eye of the beholder, name calling is being bullied and then it's not, yeah.
