The bible says homosexuality is an abomination, much like mixing textiles. If you've ever worn a a multi blended piece of clothing, you're going to the same hell the gays are.

Maybe the Vet decided that this was the best time to do such a thing since maybe these two love each other. What better way to welcome your loved one home who you have been with for a long time than by proposing marriage to them?

That's what ANYONE without an agenda would have done. Obviously they had an agenda they knew media would be there and planned it because of that. If homosexual couples would just blend in with society instead of trying to force it down everyone's throats then maybe people would be more eager to accept or at least not give a crap.

You still aren't answering the question. Would you be outraged calling it a freak show and suggesting the person shouldn't even be allowed on the Military base if this was a heterosexual couple?

Holy crap I have said 2 times yes. Do you not know how to read? Christ sakes.Oh and as far as him being allowed on the base he was thrown out of the military so uh no he shouldn't have been allowed back on the base the same goes for any straight person that was thrown out of the military no matter the reason.

People can disagree on certain things and have differing opinions without one of them being bigoted. However, when someone starts throwing around terms like freak show and butt pirate, well yes that is bigoted....

The media wouldn't care now would they? It wouldn't be front page news now would it. No. It wouldn't be. They would be attention whores that is for sure. The media loves stories like this so they can print a big juicy store about it and sell the papers to society.People are not smart enough to decide for themselves they see what's in the papers and when its constantly smashed in their faces every time they open a magazine or paper eventually they come to accept it as fact. Repeat enough propaganda and eventually people will believe it.Worked for the Nazis and for Communist Russia.Works here to obviously.

I've seen many people propose, or be proposed to when their loved ones return from deployment. Did this one call a news conference? Did he personally call the press? Or maybe the press was there to cover the homecoming, and caught the moment on film. I can't watch the video on this computer, so I don't know.

I have heterosexuality shoved down my throat everyday. If you don't like people being happy together, don't watch. Don't comment, or read the stories. Your choice is just one click of the mouse away.

No, you didn't, but whatever.

And I'm not sure I really belive you. If somebody posted a thread on here titled: "Male Vet Proposes to Marine Girlfriend on Base After Returning From Afghanistan" I'm suppose to believe you would be posting similar comments of disgust in it? (not that such a story would even make the news seeing as how it's probably somewhat common and a complete non-issue).
