White progressives have this Atticus Finch persona; they think they are the saviors of black folks. Deep down though, progressives actually fear blacks. White progressives think that if they keep on pointing at other whites and crying, "raaaaacist", that when TSHTF they will somehow escape harm.

Why do lefties so often hurl false accusations of racism?
Well, you know that old saying ... "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck .... " I've observed that there's a lot of truth to that saying. I'm supposing that if many people suggest that your comments are racist in nature then you might want to step back and re-examine what you've been writing that gives so many people that impression.
I see it as a larger issue than merely false accusations of "racism". My take is that liberalism needs "victims" i.e. minorities, women, gays, the poor, etc. to "rescue". Without "victims" liberalism would die on the vine. Liberalism must create an ever increasing consciousness of victimhood in order to perpetuate itself. Keeping alive the idea of racial inequality by whatever means is merely one of the weapons liberalism uses to accomplish that end.
The answer is simple. The Left sees everything possible through the lens of skin color. Just that alone is the very definition of a racist. If anyone hasn't noticed, the Left, with the aid of Alinsky, use this tactic called "projection". Whatever tactic they are employing at the time, they accuse the other side of doing it to take the attention off of themselves. It's an age old Communist tactic.

I wouldn't agree with the statement by the other poster but more often than not I see what I would consider racists ideas espoused from liberals. I would say it's more sub conscious than blatant racism, people that are of the opinion they have to help blacks as if the were children incapable of doing for themselves is one example I often see.
The so-called left can not help it. They are trained this way from an early age. It's not that they are bad folks and hurl useless and politically correct accusations of racism...on purpose...or with evil intent. The left are slightly dangerous that way- because they actually think they are doing the right thing. This makes them hard to deal with. How do you explain to some one on the left that they are not right?
Impossible. Once you institute a way of thinking though our educational institutions and media...all progress comes to a halt. Institutionalization characteristically - generates "I know ever thing about every thing" state of mind...and the learning and progression stops..They are very similar to Christian fundamentalists that grasp one concept and hold on to it for dear life..It takes courage to think.
